The port city of Huelva is located in the southwest of Spain, in the region of Andalusia. Not only is it an ideal destination when traveling through mainland Spain, with its various monuments and attractions, but it’s also connected to the Canaries by ferry.

You can visit Huelva by train, bus or car via neighboring Spanish cities. If you wish to travel by plane, there are flight connections to the airport of Seville, which is about 1 hour from the city center of Huelva. Once you get to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, there are two options, depending on the combination of crossings you’ve chosen. You either have to wait at the port before resuming your trip to Fuerteventura with a different ship or go to another Gran Canaria port and switch ferries there.
