Here's how to enjoy the best beaches in La Graciosa according to ferryhoppers:

Take in the views at La Cocina

The beach of La Cocina is an untouched cove right below the famous Montaña Amarilla ("yellow mountain") of La Graciosa.

The sheltered beach is one of the most impressive in La Graciosa and it’s great for families, as well as adventure-seekers. You can try snorkeling or diving, as well as hike in the area above the beach.

In La Cocina, you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Famara cliffs and have the time of your life, splashing around its inviting waters. Its white sand and imposing volcanic rocks that hug the coast create an impressive setting.

The only way to access the beach is on foot, but you can approach the area by bike or taxi. Walking there from Caleta de Sebo takes approximately 1.5 hours.

And if you need yet another reason why this is one of the best beaches in La Graciosa, bear in mind that you can see dolphins swimming by from time to time!

Live the beach life at La Francesa

This superb beach is located on the south coast of La Graciosa, just 2 km from Caleta de Sebo. Famous for its Carribean-like feeling, La Francesa is said to be the best beach in La Graciosa.

La Francesa is covered with soft, white sand and it has magical, crystal-clear waters. When the tide comes in, it creates a shallow lagoon, which is ideal for snorkeling and for children to swim and play. The beach also offers incredible views of Lanzarote's northern coastline and the Famara cliffs.

To get to La Francesa, you can walk along the coast from the port (about 35 minutes) or bike (20-30 minutes). Alternatively, the 4x4 taxis take only 5 minutes to reach the beach.

Since La Francesa is close to Caleta de Sebo and is frequented by private and tourist boats, it can get a bit crowded during the day. If you want to enjoy the tranquility and see the beautiful sunset, we suggest going there after 17:00.

Join the community of Caleta de Pedro Barba

The beach of Pedro Barba is located on the northeastern coast of La Graciosa, right next to the small community of the same name.

The beach is quite popular during high season, as travelers flock to the summer residences to enjoy their beach vacation in La Graciosa. If you wish to enjoy the beach in total peace, we recommend visiting off-season and experiencing the untamed coast in a novel and adventurous way!

The small cove is covered with sand and black volcanic rocks. Also, the surrounding area is great for hiking.

There are no visitor amenities on the beach, except for a small parking lot right above and a couple of tourist apartments.

Leave your troubles behind at Las Conchas

Located at the foot of Mountain Bermeja in the north of La Graciosa, Las Conchas is the most idyllic beach on the island and certainly one of the best!

It is a large beach with a wide golden-sand coast, perfect for relaxation! While the strong currents may prevent you from swimming in its clear waters, it is worth visiting the pristine beach to marvel at the beauty of the landscape and feel a true sense of freedom. Not to mention the spectacular views of the islet of Montaña Clara!

The easiest way to reach Las Conchas is to take a 4x4 taxi (about 10 minutes from the port). You can also bike there (around 45 minutes from the port), but bear in mind that the rocky path might be physically demanding. If you feel like hiking, the walk from Caleta de Sebo takes about 2 hours.

Tip: bring water and snacks with you and don’t forget an umbrella for sun protection!

Go off-the-beaten-path at Ámbar

Ámbar beach (also known as Lambra) is located near Pedro Barba in the north. It’s around 12 minutes by taxi from the small community and 25 minutes from Caleta de Sebo.

The crystal-clear waters, white sand dunes and volcanic rocks create a unique scenery that makes it one of the top beaches in La Graciosa. Lambra is a wild, unspoiled beach typical of the virgin landscape of the island.

It is the perfect spot to recharge your batteries, enjoy the peace and quiet of the area or explore the rocky hills on foot. Also, don't miss out on a visit to the neighboring Mirador Baja de las Majapalomas, one of the most impressive natural attractions on the island!

Although this is hands-down one of the best La Graciosa beaches, bear in mind that it is not always safe to swim, due to the strong winds.
