Island-hopping trip to Skyros, Skopelos and Alonissos with Skyros Shipping Co

Skyros, Skopelos and Alonissos are the 3 largest islands of the Sporades. Luckily, you can travel directly to Skyros and continue your tour in the Northern Sporades with a single booking.

Combining all ferry itineraries to these islands is possible on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from June to mid-September. The itineraries between Kymi, Skyros, Skopelos and Alonissos are operated by the historic ferry Achilleas, which belongs to the fleet of Skyros Shipping Co.

Ferries to Skyros depart from the picturesque port of Kymi. You can easily get there from Athens by car or intercity bus (KTEL). The Athens - Halkida - Kymi itinerary is available every day. The ferry from Kymi to Skyros departs at 09:30 in the morning and reaches Skyros at 11:00. Standard tickets cost around 19.

The island of Skyros welcomes you with its gorgeous views, tranquil vibes and unspoiled beauty. Its traditional restaurants serve mouth-watering delicacies and high-quality seafood. As for beaches, there is a coast for every taste. Close to the port, you can find the beach of Acherounes and go for a swim before leaving for Skopelos at 12:00 on the day of your departure.

The Skyros - Skopelos ferry route lasts 5 hours and includes a brief stop at the port of Kymi, with tickets starting at €25. As soon as you arrive at the port, Skopelos rewards you with its quaint atmosphere, magical beaches and local delicacies, such as the popular strifti tiropita (cheese pie).

After exploring the island of Skopelos for as many days as you wish, you can take the ferry from Skopelos to Alonissos at 17:30, arriving at 18:00. Ferry tickets cost around €6 per passenger. Just a stone's throw away, Alonissos impresses even the most demanding visitors with its scenic port Patitiri, green hiking trails, delicious seafood, and beaches for all tastes!

And just like that, you island-hopping adventure in the Sporades ends with Alonissos. Ferries from Alonissos to Kymi depart at 18:20 and arrive just before 21:00, with standard tickets around €25.
