Where to take the ferry from Trapani to Favignana?

High-speed ferries to Favignana depart from the Via Ammiraglio Staiti pier, while conventional ferries leave from the Viale Regina Elena pier. Trapani's port is located right next to the historic city center, with direct access to the heart of the city.

The Port of Trapani is less than 1 km from the train station and approximately 18 km from the airport.

How to get to the Port of Trapani

• By car: from Palermo, take the A29 motorway toward Trapani/Mazara del Vallo, then follow the signs to the city center and the port. Several parking areas are available nearby.
• By bus: several bus operators (including AST and Segesta/Lumia) connect Trapani with Palermo, Marsala, Agrigento and the airport, with stops close to the port.
• By train: Trapani railway station is less than 1 km from the port, about a 10-minute walk. The city is well connected with Palermo and other Sicilian provinces.
• By plane: Trapani-Birgi Vincenzo Florio Airport is about 15-18 km from the port. You can reach the terminal by AST bus (Route 741, terminus at the port, approximately 35-40 min.), by pre-booked shuttle, or by taxi (fixed fare of around €30). Alternatively, you can fly into Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport and continue by bus or car.

The port of Favignana is located on the central-northern coast of the island, just a short walk from the town center. The port area features a variety of useful services, including bars, ice cream shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. You can also rent bicycles and scooters in the vicinity.
