Where to take the ferry from Gran Canaria to Lanzarote

Ferries to Lanzarote normally set sail from Puerto de la Luz, which is the main port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the island capital. The seaside town is located on the northeastern coast of Gran Canaria, approximately 25 km from Gran Canaria Airport.

How to get to Gran Canaria port

  • If you are arriving by car, simply follow the GC-1 freeway directly into Las Palmas and the "Puerto / Muelle" signs as you approach the city. If you are leaving your car behind, you will find parking lots nearby.

Where does the ferry arrive in Lanzarote?

Ferries from Gran Canaria typically dock at Puerto de los Mármoles, the port of Arrecife. The seaside town is located on the eastern side of Lanzarote. In the area around the port you will find cafés, small eateries, and parking lots.
