Yes, on the high-speed ferries traveling from Las Palmas to Morro Jable you can either upgrade your ticket with priority boarding and a meal or book a reclining seat in the business lounge, which also includes priority boarding and access to an exclusive area.

Prices for priority boarding seats start at around €70, while business lounge seats from €90.

Luggage

Each ferry company serving the routes from Gran Canaria to Fuerteventura has its own luggage policy:

• On Fred. Olsen ferries, you are allowed up to 20 kg of luggage, free of charge. The company also offers trolleys to transport your bags and lockers for €1.
• When traveling with Naviera Armas or Trasmediterranea, you are entitled to up to 4 bags with a total weight of 60 kg, for free.

Traveling with pets

Where to take the ferry from Gran Canaria to Fuerteventura

You can travel by ferry to Morro Jable or Puerto del Rosario in Fuerteventura from the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The city is located on the northeast coast of Gran Canaria, approximately 25 km from Gran Canaria Airport, making it easy to reach whether you're coming from the south or staying in Las Palmas.

The port is well-organized, with dedicated terminals for foot passengers and vehicles, clear signage for each ferry company, and waiting lounges. Nearby, you’ll find plenty of essential traveler amenities, such as cafés, restaurants, mini-markets, hotels, ATMs, pharmacies, car-rental agencies, and taxis.

Just a short walk away is Las Canteras Beach, and the commercial district, with shopping centers, electronics shops, and outdoor gear stores for any last-minute needs.

How to get to Las Palmas port

Reaching the Port of Las Palmas is straightforward, with several convenient transport options:

• From the airport, you can take bus routes 60, 1, or 11 from Gran Canaria Airport to Las Palmas. Route 60 is the fastest option, connecting the airport directly with Santa Catalina and San Telmo bus stations, both close to the port area.
• Within Las Palmas, the Guaguas Municipales city buses run many routes which stop near the Santa Catalina, a short walk to ferry check-in points.
• Taxis are widely available throughout the island, and rides from the airport typically take 20-30 min, depending on traffic and your location.
• If you are driving yourself, you can easily reach the port via the GC-1 freeway, which runs along the island’s eastern coast. 

Where does the ferry arrive in Fuerteventura?

Ferries from Gran Canaria normally arrive at 2 ports in Fuerteventura: Morro Jable and Puerto del Rosario. Both ports are modern, accessible, and well-connected to the rest of the island.

• Morro Jable is on the southern coast of Fuerteventura. The port area includes restaurants, cafés, car-rental booths, and shaded waiting areas. Just a few minutes away, you’ll find long sandy beaches, a seaside promenade, supermarkets, pharmacies, and hotels.
• Puerto del Rosario is the capital of Fuerteventura and located on the northeast side of the island. The port is close to the city center, so nearby you will find restaurants, bars, shops, hotels, and attractions like the harbor promenade and museums, as well as ATMs, tourist information points and car-rental agencies.

From Morro Jable, you can easily reach Puerto del Rosario or other major destinations by car, taxi, or bus. The island’s bus route 1 connects Morro Jable with the capital, stopping at key towns along the east coast.
