Regular ferries are departing from the port of Barcelona (Muelle San Beltrán dock) to Genoa in Italy. The port of Barcelona is located 9 km out of the center of the city and it's easily accessible by public transport (underground or bus) as well as by car or taxi. 

To get to the port of Barcelona from the city airport you'll need about 25 min by car or 1 hr by public transport.
