Ferry from Amalfi to Ischia

Infants and toddlers up 3 years old travel free of charge, while children aged 4-12 years old are entitled to discount tickets. There are also reduced fares for groups of travelers.

The hydrofoils serving the Amalfi - Ischia routes are equipped with a basic range of amenities and services for a comfortable and safe journey. Cabins and accommodation

Due to the short duration of the Amalfi - Ischia route, there are no cabins on the ferries. However, onboard seating is included in the ticket price.

Luggage

On the ferries of Alicost, each passenger can bring one piece of luggage with maximum dimensions of 50x35x20 cm and a weight not exceeding 9 kg. On Capitan Morgan vessels, there are no specific limits for luggage.

Traveling with pets

You can travel with your pet on both Alicost and Capitan Morgan vessels, as long as you include it in the booking and pay a small fee.

Please note that only small and medium-sized pets are allowed on board. For larger pets, owners need to make sure that they don't cause disturbance during the journey. Otherwise, boarding may be denied.

Note that dogs should wear a muzzle and a leash, and that guide dogs are normally allowed to board free of charge.

Where to take the ferry from Amalfi to Ischia

Boats to Ischia depart from Molo Cassone, which is located at the port of Amalfi. The port is about a 10-min walk from the beautiful cathedral of Sant'Andrea, a landmark of the ancient maritime town.

• Ischia Porto is on the northeast side of the island is Ischia’s main port and the busiest arrival point, with easy access to the town center, beaches, and connections to buses and taxis.
• Casamicciola Terme, on the northern coast of Ischia, is known for its thermal spas and quieter atmosphere. It is an ideal destination if you plan on staying in Casamicciola or nearby Lacco Ameno.
• Lacco Ameno is located between Casamicciola and Forio, and is the smallest town on the island of Ischia.
